Holiday Blog 2008

South Louisiana had a major snowfall (the most in over 20 years, according to locals). W enjoyed playing in it, of course he just loves being outside with the ball in any weather. The snow caused schools and business to close for a few days. Being a NC mountain girl, I could really appreciate the snow day for all the deep south snow virgins!

I think this was a house in Jean's neighborhood (0r Neil's sister?) Isn't it postcard pretty!

We had a great time ringing in the New Year at our friends' The Mayers-with fireworks, kids and peanut butter (that's an inside joke...you'll have to ask Neil, Scott or Megan)..lol!

This time last year we were preparing for our little baby to make her entrance into the world! Now she's almost a year old! We are a happy little family and Sadie makes our life so much more meaningful and precious.
Happy New Year! Here's to a 2009 full of surprises and lots of love!
