tummy time

Lacie is having fun on her tummy toy that Oma bought while she was down here in November. Sadie is obviously enjoying it too. Excuse the mess in this room, it was an office but now it functions as storage for baby items. We will get it organized or together one day. Not anytime soon, to my husband's dismay.

Lacie can lift her head, smile, coo and laugh (so some say, though I haven't had the pleasure). She loves being held, belly down, and walked around... seeing what's going on. Although she is content to sit in her bouncer she would prefer to be walked around. She "talks", saying "gaa, ohhh, awww, "and other baby sounds/noises. You can tell she desperately wants to speak...that little tongue just moves and moves!

At her 2 month check up, Lacie weighed 12 lbs. 13 oz. and was 24'' long! She is in the 97% for height and 95% for weight! Her head circumference is also in top percentile, meaning of course she is a genius. Like her momma and big sister! (Daddy had nothing to do with it). Actually Neil has a huge head. Lol.

This week Sadie has been home sick with upper respiratory virus and fever. It's been pretty awful. She ran fever for 3 days. Went to doctor this morning, for albuterol for her nebulizer and decongestant prescriptions. She is actually doing better, maybe even school tomorrow. That'd be a nice break for me! It's no fun when your toddler is sick.
